Starry Night at the Zeiss-Großplanetarium
Stargazing and an epic space mission all in one live show
Gaze at Berlin’s night sky, as if the whole city had switched off its lights. Learn to spot the Small Dog, Big Dipper and other enchanting constellations that are usually hidden to the naked eye. Set sail through the solar system, turning to look at earth from a whole new perspective, before roaming around interstellar space and venturing beyond our Milky Way. Starry Night transports you to the very edge of the observable universe, then brings you back down to earth.
Including philosophical nuggets, jokes and great space themed soundtracks, Starry Night is awe-inspiring, informative and entertaining. The live show in English, lasts around an hour and costs €9 or €7.
The Zeiss-Großplanetarium also have a lot of other exciting shows. Including Dark Side of the Moon, a trippy Pink Floyd space spectacle, and Aurora, Wunder des Nord Lichts, a visual treat. Coming this September is Galaxies, a live music performance from Berlin’s beloved Alice Phoebe Lou.
